Environment Directorate has stipulated quota for lynx hunting 2019 in predator region 2 Buskerud is part of. Hunting season for lynx is from 1. February to 31. mars.
The quota in the region 2 - Vestfold, Buskerud, Telemark and Aust-Agder is set to total 24 lynxes with a total quota of 7 adult females.
It opened for unlimited hunt in municipalities in Aust-Agder that is grazing priority. Predator Tribunal in region 2 is given the authority to set hunting areas, benefits ratio, establish reserve quota and establish other conditions for quota hunting on lynx in the region, including restrictions in pursuit of family groups.
