Predator committees in wolf zone adopted a decision in June permissions to kill three wolf packs in wolf zone. Decisions have been appealed and that's Climate- and Environment Ministry which has the final say in the matter. NJFF assumes that Government by Minister Ola Elvestuen use the room for maneuver provided by law to make decisions regarding permissions to kill within wolf zone.

After the decision was taken by predators committees are laid down a lot of effort in our three regional organization in Akershus, Østfold and Hedmark, to establish a well-functioning organization of forthcoming permissions to kill and secure the necessary landowner permits. The consequence of that Parliament would like a wolf zone, is that part of the population must take the load of having of wolves over time. When the approved population target is reached and responsibilities and conditions of precipitation are met, must be opened for permissions to kill even within wolf zone.
