Herders fear a future with much wolf. - Even if a wolf was shot yesterday, so there is no relaxation.

- It has been discovered even a wolf tracks farther west. This applies to be on guard, and it takes its toll, says head of reindeer grazing district Skuohtanjárga siida, Mikkel Nils Sara.

A month ago, a wolf was shot in Karasjok after killing 57 sheep and reindeer.
In recent weeks, even a wolf ravaged area. Yesterday was the wolf shot of Norwegian Nature (SNO) from a helicopter commissioned by the Environment Agency.

That means more than 60 reindeer and sheep killed by wolves in inner Finnmark since the start of October. It is very unusual with wolves in Finnmark.
