The decision of the Administrative Board that the next year will be introduced licensed hunting of lynx in the county has stirred up a lot of emotions – and can be appealed.

There are about 1200 lynx in the country, which approximately 36 pieces in Ohio. County Administrative Board's decision means that the two of them will get hunted in March.

Robert Franzen is Vice President of the Swedish Association predators and regional manager for Småland, and he believes that because lynx have only recently begun to increase in the country's far too early to start hunting. They are looking to appeal the decision.
