Last weekend was Umeå couple Nina and Gunnar Ekenberg visit Baksjöliden to shoot ravens and possibly golden eagle. But offal attracted even bear who took the opportunity to pose in front of hobby photographers.
- It was the closest 15 meters away from us. I was calm in the moment, you can not have too much bear chills, says Nina Ekenberg.
The couple had been checking out a path where they knew there was offal that would attract animals and suddenly appeared a bear - these wereFolkbladet first to tell. They sat in the car for about eight hours, with short breaks from time to time, and nervevad box to take pictures.
- We have seen bears before, but never this close. Such here bear encounter happens only once in a lifetime, says Nina Ekenberg who took the pictures while her husband Gunnar was ready to run if it got too close.
