In Junsele hold a wolf territories that formed. The territory is a key to a strong Swedish wolf; if it is not preserved as have virtually all attempts at strengthening the wolf genetics failed.
The EU runs an infringement case against Sweden then the wolf hunt 2010. It requires that Sweden shall have a well thought-out management plan for the wolf to its future in Sweden and Scandinavia will be secure.
Environment Minister Lena Ek is responsible for EU relations but has not lived up to expectations. She has the EU:s mission to develop a management plan for a viable wolf population, but she does her best to shirk its responsibility.
