A notification of hunting violations have been prepared, after a motorist discovered a dead moose on County Road 1175 near Häfla use.

-We thought that it was about a motorist who drove the moose, and then not done the right thing by telling it for us, says Torbjörn Lindqvist, county officer in charge of police officer.

Shortly after the alarm came in, at 20:30-time on Saturday contacted the police a tracking hunters to look for moose, who should have been in the middle of the road.

-He got in, and told me that the moose was not killed in an accident without a shot, says Torbjörn Lindqvist.

Police have now written notification of hunting crimes, and elk have been submitted to the gamekeeper.

-According to hunting legislation, it is he who has the right to take care of the meat. We had certainly been able to take the seized also, but we can not be happy to bunch it into a freezer at the police station, says Torbjörn Lindkvist.
