Studies show that eagles die of lead poisoning. The eagles eat carrion containing lead ammunition and lose ability to fly. Victor Persson of Stockholm Poultry rehab has developed a new method to treat lead poisoning eagles so that the bird can be released back.

Victor person has recently received a lead-poisoned eagles treated with a new method and the eagle responds well to treatment.

- We have a new method with different prescription medications that we combine in collaboration with veterinary. In our research, we try to clean the organs of heavy metals. We can not operate off the lead but we can encapsulate the lead with bonding agents. When the stomach in time can lead come out of the normal route, said Victor Persson.
