- Genetic analysis has become an important tool in monitoring predators in Scandinavia. The analysis provides information on population size, composition and exchange between subpopulations. In Sweden ago 2017 a pilot study in northern Sweden to evaluate the collection of DNA on wolverine can be an alternative method for calculating the population of the wolverine population.
