Helsinki police may gain to investigate and combat animal rights

Helsinki Police Department to establish a working group that investigates all crimes where animals are involved. It will be the first investigation team in Finland.

Helsinki Police Protection Unit shall, inter alia investigating and preventing: animal rights, improper transport of animals, illegal djurimport, hunting dog and fracture discipline offenses.

 in a press release.

Finnish animal protection associations covenant, SEY, have been waiting for a similar police team in decades. This news is in other words very welcome as covenant.
