Prosecutor Åse Schoultz announced that the allegations of illegal hunting of wolves in Hälsingland has been strengthened thanks to the new analysis results. Her hope is to prosecute before Christmas.

Thecoarse suspected hunting offense must have occurred in February 2017, when the blood trail from the wolves were discovered in a lake ice between Bollnäs and Ljusdal. Six people were arrested, interrogated and released in the spring 2017 at large, not considered to hamper the investigation.
Someone wolf's body confirming the suspicions of serious hunting crime has never been found. In contrast, says prosecutor Åse Schoultz to trace people and snowmobile shows that the wolf has been persecuted.

Have stood still
Already in July last year included the investigation over a thousand pages. But since then it has stood still in anticipation of a summary and analysis including phone tapping, seized mobiles, GPS data and computers.
Both Åse Schoultz and attorney Sven Severin, defending one of the suspects, has beencritical to the police long turnaround. But now announces the prosecutor that the suspicions have grown stronger against the six suspects during the long investigation.
