Activists from the Hunt Saboteurs Sweden has recently been reported to the police for both vandalism and harassment, when they tried to prevent the licensed hunting of wolves in Kölstareviret. They claim to not commit any criminal offense.
According Richii Klinsmeister trying activists confront hunters by presenting facts about the wolf and suggest other activities that hunters can indulge instead of hunting. He also writes that the activists use different fragrances to complicate the tracking hounds. Just to be in place, according to him, the direct impact:
