28 wolves 42 assigned has been postponed for the Norwegian hunting license.

This was announced by the Norwegian authorities today, uppger NRK.

The number of wolves killed is the highest ever convicted in connection with the licensed hunting.

WWF to lawsuits: - Norwegian wolf management is illegal

Ulven in Norway is critically endangered and fully protected, still run the large-scale hunting and stocks kept at an alarmingly low level. It is illegal, believes WWF. Tuesday 24. April starts trial in Oslo District Court to determine whether Norway needs a new predator management.

- Enough is enough. We have tried all other means. The Norwegian wolf hunt is illegal and must be stopped before it's too late to rescue a critically endangered species. Therefore, we have now taken legal action against the state, says environmental political leader Ingrid Lomelde WWF World Wildlife Fund.
